DestinyImpact CBO has been improving lives around Bungoma county since 2020
DestinyImpact CBO is a registered humanitarian organization based in Nambuchi/Kimaeti, Bungoma County. We exist to solve everyday challenges in rural Kenya by improving health well-being, education, economic opportunities, and livelihoods. Since our founding, we’ve carried out anti-jigger campaigns, disability support drives, cloth donations, and women’s empowerment trainings.
We are not political, not tribal — we are community-driven, transparent, and accountable. Our goal is simple: to ensure vulnerable groups — youth, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities — live with dignity and hope
Program Insights
We believe real change begins at the grassroots when barriers that hinder health well-being in rural communities are broken. Our programs are designed to answer real questions people ask every day; how to access health care, how to gain livelihood skills, how to enhance family income and how to live with dignity.
Our health well-being campaigns have supported over 100 individuals through anti-jigger drives, while our assistive devices donations have restored independence to 30+ persons with disabilities. We have proven that accessible healthcare transforms entire families – from preventive care to specialized support equipment.
Education opens doors that poverty tries to keep closed. Through our scholarship programs and school supply drives, we have directly supported students who might have otherwise dropped out of school. Our mentorship initiatives connect rural youth with opportunities beyond their villages, while our inclusive learning advocacy ensures no child is left behind due to disability or circumstances.
Real change happens when communities can sustain themselves. We have trained over 200 women in income-generating skills, established table banking groups that multiply small investments, and created micro-enterprise support systems. Our approach does not only intend to teach skills but also build economic ecosystems that keep wealth circulating within communities.
Sometimes dignity starts with basic needs met. Our 500+ clothing and food donation programs, and elderly care initiatives provide immediate relief while our community resilience projects build long-term stability. We have learned that supporting livelihoods means addressing both urgent needs and underlying vulnerabilities.
