On Saturday 23 August 2025, persons with disabilities and their families gathered with Destiny Impact at Ng’oli, along the Malaba highway in Bungoma County, to receive new mobility aids. The aids were a free donation from the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).

What was handed over

NCPWD donated 15 crutches and two wheelchairs. A wheelchair or a pair of crutches can mean getting around the home, reaching the market or joining a community meeting without being carried.

How the day went

The day began with a meeting of the disability group inside the hall. Everyone then moved outside, where the crutches and wheelchairs were handed over in person, with families and neighbours looking on. It ended with a group photo of everyone who took part.

Thank you, NCPWD

We thank the National Council for Persons with Disabilities for donating these aids, and the families and volunteers who made the day possible. Destiny Impact is registered with NCPWD, and disability inclusion is one of the approaches under our umbrella.

Help the next person move freely

One handover does not meet every need in our community. Your gift helps Destiny reach the next person waiting for support.
